1st May 2011 - Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow renews contract with AST Ambulance....

AST Ambulance Service is delighted to announce that the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow has renewed its contract with us to provide Paramedic Ambulance Cover for another year. Tony Hannigan who heads up our Scottish Operations said "I am thrilled that we are able to continue this exciting work and look forward to working even more closely with the team at the SECC"

The first year of the contract saw AST staff working with the team at the SECC to provide a full range of Medical Cover for Rock and Pop concerts. Big names have included:

Rhianna, Rod Stewart, Biffy Clyro, Paul Weller, The Scissor Sisters, Shakira, The Script, Jamiroquai and of course, Kylie Minogue

AST Ambulance Service is providing a full Paramedic Service to the SECC and this includes the the transfers of any casualties to the local receiving hospital, The Western Infirmary in Glasgow.

AST staff are becoming a regular sight around the Glasgow area and we hope to develop this work in order that local services may benefit from using a CQC registered provider such as ourselves.
